Sound hooks are curved, hollow «hooks» that screw onto to the hearing aid. These hooks function to hold the hearing aid onto the ear and to transmit sound from the hearing aid through to the tube that goes into the ear. Occasionally the sound hook needs to be changed to accommodate a different type of tubing or replaced if it has been damaged.
